Founded in 1887, Convent of the Sacred Heart High School is an independent Catholic school that provides excellence in education and prepares graduates to be active, informed and compassionate members of a global society.
There were eighty pupils in attendance, and one of the Sisters of St. Francis went each day from Sacred Heart Convent to teach the school. Sacred Heart Commercial School. In the year 1892 Father John B. Eis, pastor of Sacred Heart Church, opened a two year high school for boys and girls.
