Apr 10, 2019 · Irmgard (Irmengard) von Braunschweig (or of the Rhine) was the daughter of Heinrich, duke of Brunswick and Palatine of the Rhine, and his first wife Agnes von Staufen. Her sister was Agnes, Duchess of Bavaria [1] . She was betrothed in 1202 to Waldemar, King of Denmark, but the marriage did not take place.
