The Sadness is the closest thing, no other movie comes close. Something like The Crazies or Shivers aren't in the same ballpark. I doubt an actual movie would ever be made though. Shocking gore aside, Crossed doesn't really have much to adapt story wise.
Look at some of these French New Wave horror movies from the 2000s (Calvaire, High Tension, Martyrs, Inside)...they depict violence that is as extreme as anything in Crossed. The only think that they'll likely need to excise is the murder and dismembering of children.

Cross is a 2011 American action fantasy film written by Patrick Durham, John Sachar, and Tanner Wiley. It was released direct-to-video. A sequel called Cross Wars was released in 2017, and a third film Cross: Rise Of The Villains was released in 2019.
