Cy Chermak ( 20 September 1929 – 29 January 2021; age 91) was a writer and producer who, along with Stuart and Sara Charno, wrote the story for the Star Trek: The Next Generation fourth season episode " The Wounded ". Chermak was married to writer Francine Carroll between 1955 and her death in 2007.
