Daniel T. Thomsen is an executive story editor and writer for the first season, a co-producer and writer for the second season and a writer and producer for the third season of ABC's Once Upon a Time.
Thomsen began his television career as a writer's assistant on Birds of Prey in 2002. He made his writing debut on the MTV series Punk'd in 2003. He was a writer's assistant for the pilot episode of Skin in 2003. He became a Script Supervisor for Smallville in 2004. He was a writer's assistant for Close To Home in 2005 and wrote an episode of the series in 2006.
He was a staff writer for the second season of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles in the 2008 to 2009 television season. He wrote three episodes of the series before its cancellation at the end of the season. During the 2009 to 2010 television season he wrote three episodes of Melrose Place.
