Enjoy this 1.0-mile out-and-back trail near Death Valley, California. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 31 min to complete. This is a very popular area for hiking, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring.
Situated more than 3,000 feet above Badwater, Dante’s View gives you an almost bird’s eye view of the valley below and the mountain range across from it. It is one of my favorite places in the park, and here is all the information so you can check it out yourself. Details. $25 to enter the park.
Distance: 52 miles, round-trip. Time: 2 hours or longer. From the Furnace Creek Visitor Center, drive southeast on Highway 190 for three miles to Zabriskie Point. A short walk up to the overlook provides you with an excellent panoramic view of colorful badlands. Proceed southeast on Highway 190 to Twenty Mule Team Canyon.
