David Feiss is an American animator, storyboard artist, screenwriter, and director. Feiss began his career working for Hanna-Barbera in the late 1970s. He received his first credit for the 1981 adult animated film Heavy Metal.
He animated on the iconic Heavy Metal. He later went on to create and direct the first original series ever on Cartoon Network, "Cow and Chicken". Feiss has produced and directed hundreds of television episodes and dozens of feature films and worked with Hollywoods most famous movie studios.
David Feiss was born on 16 April 1959 in Sacramento, California, USA. He is a writer, known for Cow and Chicken (1997), Minions: The Rise of Gru (2022) and Astro Boy (2009). He has been married to Annmarie Ashkar McCarty since 2009. They have one child. He was previously married to Pilar Menendez.
