David William Ferrie (March 28, 1918 – February 22, 1967) was an American pilot who was alleged by New Orleans District Attorney Jim Garrison to have been involved in a conspiracy to assassinate President John F. Kennedy. Garrison also alleged that Ferrie knew Lee Harvey Oswald.

Feb 21, 2023 · David Ferrie was a pilot, a former seminarian, and a CIA agent who allegedly met with Lee Harvey Oswald and Clay Shaw. He was questioned by the FBI and died of natural causes in 1967, but his role in the assassination remains controversial.
David Ferrie has long been portrayed on paper and in film as an American grotesque: a raving hater of President Kennedy, who threatened to kill the President. He was said to be angry at JFK for failing to help the Cuban exiles restore liberty to their land.
