He is the chairman of Drug Science , a non-profit which he founded in 2010 to provide independent, evidence-based information on drugs. [7]

David Nutt is a leading expert on the effects and harms of drugs, especially psychoactive substances, and the neurobiology of addiction. He is the Edmond J. Safra Professor of Neuropsychopharmacology and director of the Neuropsychopharmacology Unit at the Division of Brain Sciences, and has published over 400 research papers and books on the topic.
