DeGrazia Gallery in the Sun Historic District is the artistic manifestation and architecture constructed by Ettore DeGrazia. The property is a series of buildings scattered throughout a natural desert setting.
Jan 30, 2013 · The Gallery in the Sun. What started as a small construction project in the 1950s developed into a 10-acre National Historic District designed and built by DeGrazia. Visitors are treated to view not only the art hung in the gallery, but the colorful grounds and sculptures surrounding the property.
Six permanent collections of DeGrazia paintings portray colorful cultures of the Sonoran desert, and rotating exhibits feature a wide range of some 15,000 DeGrazia originals, from oil paintings and watercolors to ceramics and sculptures.
