Derek St. Holmes was the voice of many classic Nugent tunes including “Stranglehold,” “Just What the Doctor Ordered,” “Snakeskin Cowboys,” “Death By Misadventure,” “Live It Up” and “Dog Eat Dog” among others. He is also a great guitar player in his own right and raises the musicality in the band.
Derek St. Holmes has been in the rock and roll business since the early 1970s and is best known for his work as guitarist, vocalist, and co-songwriter with the original Ted Nugent band.

Derek St. Holmes is an American rock musician, best known as the lead singer and rhythm guitar player for Ted Nugent's early solo career. After splitting from Nugent in 1978, St. Holmes worked with various artists, most notably the Whitford/St. Holmes project with Brad Whitford, who had then recently parted ways with Aerosmith.
