"Set It Off" is the closing song from the Disney Channel Original Movie, Descendants, sung by Mal, Ben, their friends, and the rest of the students of Auradon Prep at the post-coronation party.
The song mirrors the opening song of the film, Rotten to the Core, given the villains are looking out to the school from the island, and the kids have now allied with good.
Ben has been crowned the new King of Auradon, and his girlfriend Mal has turned her once formidable mother Maleficent into a small gecko. With all this good news, the students of Auradon Prep dance and sing together to celebrate and party.
Ben and Mal eventually head to the balcony to watch everyone else have fun. Breaking the fourth wall, Mal tells the audience off-screen that 'the story isn't over yet', hinting that there is more to come, which may come in the form of a sequel.

•Excluding the actors for three of the four Villains, Heroes, Coach Jenkins and Mr. Deley, this song was performed by the full cast.
•Brenna D'Amico (Jane) (17 at the time) and Cameron Boyce (Carlos De Vil) (16 at the time) couldn't stay the whole night filming the musical number because they were underage at the time. They both were replaced by dancing body-doubles who danced in their places.
•Despite being credited, Mitchell Hope did not provide Ben's singing voice which was instead Jeff Lewis although Hope would go on to sing during the sequels.
•It was one of the songs that got a remix version in Dance Party Remix.
