Synopsis. In the summer of 1974, Cherry Holly, a vibrant young nurse is hired by the Hallewell family to care for an infirm old man. She is taken to a remote pickup point by her two lifelong friends Sarah and Maria. They are met by the Hallewell's ward and caretaker, Dwayne, a young, attractive Haitian man, who has been waiting for Cherry.
The Devil's Child is a 1997 American made-for-television horror film. Written by Pablo F. Fenjves and Laurence Minkoff, and directed by Bobby Roth, the film was first shown on Lifetime Television in October 1997. It has had releases in different countries under different titles, with a DVD commercial re-release in 2005.
