Apr 18, 2024 · The story of the Toronto Distillery District goes back to 1832 when the Gooderham and Worts Distillery was founded. It started off fairly small, but in 1859 the company began building a large distillery complex on the Toronto waterfront, which consisted of 47 buildings in total.
