Ok I’m a little late commenting but i know exactly what is going on with chucks condition. When we first learn about the condition we as the audience are under the impression that his condition is tied to jimmy’s immoral behavior being a lawyer and his stress is causing the condition but in fact this isn’t it.
I suggest you just relax and enjoy the ride. The early seasons are definitely slower, it gets more exciting later on. By the end of season five you'll be very happy you stuck with it. Wait until Saul kicks the crap out of the 5 Russians on the bus. Then you'll be hooked.
