After accidentally witnessing gangster Jimmy Dolan (Christian Slater) murder a man, Elizabeth Robinson (Emmanuelle Vaugier) is killed to prevent her from testifying in court. Her grief-stricken husband, Robinson (Wes Bentley), is determined to get revenge, but realizes that Dolan's bulletproof car makes him impossible to shoot.
