The Porsche family (also known as Porsche–Piëch family[1]) is a prominent Austrian-German family of industrialists descending from the Austrian-Bohemian-German automotive pioneer Ferdinand Porsche. Its members control Porsche SE and have a majority voting right over Volkswagen AG, the largest automaker in the world.
In 1935, Ferry married Dorothea Reitz, whom he had first met at Daimler-Benz. The couple had four children: Ferdinand Alexander (born 1935), Gerhard (born 1938), Hans-Peter (born 1940), and Wolfgang (born 1943), and remained married until her death.

It did appear, however, as though the Type 32 would never get off the drawing board since no one else expressed interest in pursuing the project.
