Douglas Samuel Wildey (May 2, 1922 – October 4, 1994) was an American cartoonist and comic book artist best known for originally conceptualizing and co-creating the classic 1964 American animated television series Jonny Quest for Hanna-Barbera Productions.

Doug Wildey (1922-1994) began his career by illustrating Western comics in the 1950s—most notably for the series, The Outlaw Kid, for Marvel Comics' precursor, Atlas Comics. In 1962, Wildey briefly worked alongside illustrator Alex Toth on Toth's cartoon series, Space Angel .
