MAJOR GENERAL EDMUND C. LYNCH. Edmund Clayton Lynch was born in Philadelphia, Penn., in 1900. He graduated from the U.S. Military Academy Air Corps June 13, 1922. For two years thereafter he was a student at Brooks and Kelly fields in Texas, where he underwent ground and flying instruction.
