Emma Jacobs is a former paramedic who was temporarily assigned to Ambulance 61 at Firehouse 51 while Sylvie Brett was on furlough on Chicago Fire. She is portrayed by Caitlin Carver.
When introducing herself to members of Firehouse 51, she claimed she had gone to John Hopkins before becoming a paramedic. This fact was later found to be false.
As she expressed interest in staying on at Firehouse 51, she tried to undercut Violet during a call.
In Halfway to the Moon, she approaches Evan Hawkins and blackmails him into having Violet transferred out of Firehouse 51, otherwise she will expose their relationship to get Violet fired.
In Last Chance, it was revealed she once worked for the Glen Ellyn Fire Department, under Chief Guerin, whom it appeared she also had leverage on.
In The Magnificent City of Chicago, she abandoned her partner and ended up getting fired over it.
In Season 11, she reemerged in Nemesis as an investigator in CFD's IAD when a complaint was filed against Sam Carver after a fiasco with a bridge operator while saving a man on a bike.
