Barracudas were right to persevere since this third album is a nice accomplishment, with ex-Flamin' Groovies Chris Wilson then a fully established member of the band. Of course, this record could never compete with the sheer brilliance of their debut and did not surpass its follow-up 'Mean Time'.

The Barracudas disbanded in 1984, after making their third and final album Endeavour to Persevere. However, in 2005, there became a growing interest regarding the reissue of their back catalogue. This resulted in Gluck and Wills reconnecting, and the two of them began composing again.
