Haydock was the original bass player for The Hollies, and was also a founding member of the band. He played on the Manchester band's 1965 UK number one hit 'I'm Alive' and 'Just One Look'.
The bassist who co-founded the British band The Hollies in 1962 and played with them until 1966, died at his home in the U.K. in 2019. He was known for his six-string Fender bass and his role in the Hollies' early harmonies and recording sessions.
