Eurimages is a cultural support fund of the Council of Europe, established in 1989 (35 years ago). Eurimages promotes independent filmmaking by providing financial support to feature-length fiction, animation, and documentary films. In doing so, it encourages co-operation between professionals across Europe.
Jan 5, 2022 · EURIMAGES supports fiction, animation and documentary feature films of a minimum length of 70 minutes. The Fund aims to encourage co-productions between our member states. There are three calls for projects per year.

Active since 1989, Eurimages is the Council of Europe Fund for the support of co-production, distribution and exhibition of international cinematographic works. With the accession of Ukraine and the departure of Argentina, the Fund numbered 40 countries as of December 2021.
Eurimages promotes independent filmmaking by providing financial support to feature-length fiction, animation and documentary films. In doing so, it encourages co-operation between professionals established in different countries. Budget Eurimages has a total annual budget of €26 million.
