Eva Bourne, also credited as Eva Allan, is the Canadian actress who portrays Princess Eva on ABC's Once Upon a Time.
Eva Bourne, professionally known as Eva Allan, was born in the small rural town of Creston, British Columbia. She describes her time growing up as humbling, but had trouble connecting with the lifestyle and mindset of the people there. With little activities to do as a youth, she started to become involved in school plays.
In high school, she did a lot of drama acting. Despite being passionate about it, Eva felt stigmatized in that very few actors are truly successful in the industry. While actively pursuing a future as a dental assistant, she saw a Woody Allen trailer production and felt the urge to get creative again. This helped her to find inspiration in going back onto the path of being an actor.
Eva moved to Vancouver on a whim, and studied with School Creative. Soon after graduating, she found an agent and began auditioning right away, which led to her role in Beyond the Black Rainbow. Afterwards, she booked a recurring role on the SyFy series Caprica, as well as roles on USA Network's Psych, Disney Channel’s 16 Wishes, and 20th Century Fox’s The Big Year. She also had a lead role on the Hub Network’s The Haunting Hour.
Aside from being intensely focused on her acting career, Eva likes abstract landscape painter, writer, dancing, running, and hanging out with friends.
