Overview. Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone is a retelling of the original TV series Neon Genesis Evangelion from Episodes 1 to 6. While the later three films diverged from the plot of the original TV series, 1.0 stayed true to it in many ways, from identical characterization to scenes reanimated shot-for-shot from the source material.
