Racist as Fuck is the third episode of the first season of Insecure. It premiered on October 23, 2016.

Issa faces her coworkers' doubts; Lawrence visits a head hunter; Molly introduces Jared to her friends.

Having returned back home, Lawrence and Issa try to move past their differences and return to the way they were previously. This proves difficult, when the two clash over whether they have the light on whilst Issa reads or not. Sleeping together proves even more difficult, and the two toss-and-turn all night.

That morning, Lawrence meets with a head-hunter, and is quite concerned that he hasn't found a job yet. The woman points to the fact that he has only been job-hunting for two weeks and the several gaps in his resume that could potentially account for this. She suggests that Lawrence takes an entry-level job or something that pays hourly until he finds a good job; Lawrence is offended and cites that he can wait for the perfect job.

Molly meets with a new intern at work, Rasheeda, and assures her that she can ask her if she ever needs anything.

Issa arrives at We Got Ya'll, and is privy to a conversation between her co-workers in which they speak negatively about her beach clean-up day. Frieda mentions they have been emailing her about concerns, however she remarks that she reassured them that Issa had thing covered. When Issa returns home, she vents to Lawrence about the whole situation, but doesn't respond in the same way when Lawrence tries to talk about his interviews. Issa reminds him that everything is not swept under the carpet just because she has returned home. Issa remarks that she is going out with Molly to eat, and Lawrence makes a joke about catching her in Rite Aid; she remarks that it is too soon.

Issa meets with Molly downtown for tacos, and Issa explains that Lawrence doesn't understand what he did to annoy her. Issa tells her that she is sick of carrying the financial burden of the relationship. They head to a party with their friends, Kelli, Tiffany, and Derek, and Molly introduces Jared to everyone; Issa bails right after this to return home. Jared's introduction goes well, and everyone seems to like him. He later reveals that he didn't go to college, and Molly begins to feel awkward — this feeling is not received by Jared, however, who believes everything is fine. Molly and Jared passionately kiss at the end of the party.

Lawrence fails to get another job and becomes more unmotivated. He cashes in his unemployment check at the bank and is told by the teller, Tasha, to keep his head up as things get better.
