Jul 3, 2018 · On the night of September. 3, 1944, 24-year-old Taylor was walking home from church along a dirt road in Abbeville, Alabama when she was stopped by seven white men and forced by gunpoint to get in their car. She was threatened, blindfolded, raped by at least six of the men.
