There is a passenger/personenfahre ferry that will take you between the two cities - round trip is 2,80 euro and about a 10-15 minute ride across the Rhine. The KD boat, for your trip to Koblenz, will pick you up at Rudesheim or Bingen (aka Bingen am Rhein), which ever town you choose to stay overnight.
