Final Set In spite of his declining skills and chronic physical ailments, he is determined to play the French Open at the advanced age of 37. In the qualifiers, he goes to battle against stiff competition and his own demons before facing an up-and-coming star who reminds him of his younger self.

The cinematography is so good that it becomes a breathtaking character of its own. Combining close-ups of Lutz and his opponents with ground-level shots of the match play, every point won or lost is conveyed in brilliant detail.
