In fact there are 59 million people a year that use this station as a starting point for more Italian adventures. A throwback to 1930’s modernism, the building was constructed by architects of the Gruppo Toscano.
Florence Santa Maria Novella (usually abbreviated to Firenze SMN) is the main station in Florence, named after the little church nearby.
