In the 1980s, Hong Kong television actors Felix Wong, Michael Miu, Kent Tong, Andy Lau and Tony Leung are called the "Five Tiger Generals of TVB". [citation needed] The five of them starred together in the 1991 film The Tigers. In 2009, a Taiwanese musical band called Wu Hu Jiang was formed.

The Five Tiger Generals of TVB (Chinese: 無綫五虎將), more commonly referred to as simply the Five Tigers (五虎), were a group of five of the most popular young leading male actors of 1980s Hong Kong television.
The five tiger generals, Zhao Yun, Guan Yu, Zhang Fei, Ma Chao and Huang Zhong were known for their bravery. Guan Yu served as the leader of The five tiger generals. The name referred to Guan Yu and Zhang Fei as "Tiger Generals".
Tong often undertook roles of princes and villains in TVB dramas. During the 1980s, Kent Tong, along with Tony Leung Chiu-Wai, Andy Lau, Michael Miu and Felix Wong became known as the Five Tiger Generals of TVB. They were widely considered the most popular and best looking leading male actors in TVB at the time.
