Floris V. Floris V (1254 - 1296) became the count of Holland aged 2, though of course the important matters were taken care of for him in his early years, by his uncle. His father, Willem II was killed by the Frisians at Hoogwoud when he fell through the ice horse and all. When Floris was grew up he managed to greatly increase the area of Holland.
