Franc. Reyes was born in Spanish Harlem and raised in the South Bronx. His teen years were spent touring the world as a dancer/choreographer. Soon after working a few years as a successful songwriter for labels like Columbia Records, Def Jam, and others, he was asked to stage club sequences for the Brian De Palma classic, "Carlito's Way".
