From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia The Affair is an American television drama series created by Sarah Treem and Hagai Levi. The series premiered on Showtime on October 12, 2014. It ran for five seasons, concluding with its final episode on November 3, 2019.
I'm paraphrasing, but this show exhibits the film version of that notion. The acting is fantastic and the writing is even better, but the true beauty of this story is in how they tell it. This is obviously about an affair, and the resulting consequences, but it is told from two different perspectives in a way that I've never seen before.
