Named after the Greek physician Galen of Pergamum, Galen Gering was born with “the arts” in his blood. His mother was an artist, and his father was a sculptor and dancer. The Los Angeles, California native began modeling in high school and soon began traveling on assignments overseas, where he walked the runway for Valentino and Armani.
