Lake Geneva is the largest body of water in Switzerland, and greatly exceeds in size all others that are connected with the main valleys of the Alps. It is in the shape of a crescent, with the horns pointing south, the northern shore being 95 km (59 mi) and the southern shore 72 km (45 mi) in length.
Fish species are diverse because of warmer and cooler waters of the shallows and deeper (up to 130 feet) depths, respectively. Just over 5000 acres in size, the clear waters of this lake provide many recreational opportunities from boating, swimming, fishing and sightseeing.

Lake Geneva is a city in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. Located in Walworth County and situated on Geneva Lake, it was home to 8,277 people as of the 2020 census, up from 7,651 at the 2010 census. It is about 40 miles southwest of Milwaukee and 65 miles northwest of Chicago.
