Feb 7, 2023 · In early September 2022, Genichiro Tenryu was hospitalized due to a cervical spinal cord injury. It was later determined that Tenryu’s official diagnosis was spinal stenosis associated with dislocation of the vertebrae. Tenyru underwent surgery the week he received the diagnosis.
