Sep 25, 2020 · Comedy writer George Jeffrie, who co-created the Royal Family spoof The Windsors has died of a heart attack at the age of 56. He was playing tennis with a friend when he collapsed last Saturday afternoon.
George Jeffrie was a writer and actor, known for The Windsors (2016), Pete Versus Life (2010) and The Armstrong and Miller Show (2007). He died on 19 September 2020 in the UK.

George Jeffrie. Writer. 24 July 1964 to 19 September 2020. A British writer who began his career as a standup comedian, Jeffrie formed a long-standing writing partnership with Bert Tyler Moore.
Written by the co-creators of Star Stories, Bert Tyler-Moore and George Jeffrie, The Windsors is a satirical portrayal of the British royal family. Following the death of Jeffrie from a heart attack in September 2020, Tyler-Moore became sole writer of the series.
