  1. Gerhard Wiltfang. Gerhard "Gerd" Wiltfang (27 April 1946 in Stuhr, Lower Saxony – 1 July 1997 in Thedinghausen) was a German equestrian and Olympic champion. He won a gold medal in show jumping with the West German team at the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich. [1] In 1978, he won the World Championship in show jumping, and in 1982 the silver medal.

  2. Gerhard "Gerd" Wiltfang (27 April 1946, Stuhr, Lower Saxony – 1 July 1997 Thedinghausen) was a German equestrian and Olympic champion. He won the gold medal in showjumping with the West German team at the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich. In 1978, he won the World Championship in showjumping in Aachen, and in 1982 the silver medal in Dublin.

At the European Championships Wiltfang won a team gold in 1981, a team silver in 1979, and a team bronze in 1977, and individually he won the 1979 European title. Domestically he was West German champion in 1961, 1971 and 1979. At the age of only 51, he died of heart failure in 1997.
