The German Wikipedia (German: Deutschsprachige Wikipedia) is the German language edition of Wikipedia. Founded 16 March 2001, it is the second-oldest and the first non-English-language Wikipedia. By count of articles, it is the third largest Wikipedia, after the English Wikipedia and the Swedish Wikipedia.
