    • Utilize the SWOT Analysis. You may have heard of the SWOT analysis in relation to business planning. It’s a technique (and handy acronym) that helps you identify Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT) in order to make a strategic plan for the future.
    • Set Realistic Goals. Sometimes, putting the time and effort into something as simple as creating a schedule can make a huge difference in your life. Setting goals that are realistic and manageable gives you the momentum to move forward and set yourself up for success.
    • Take Proactive Action. Some people believe that “Life has a funny way of working out.” And while having a positive outlook can help you get your life together, the reality is that you must pair optimism with action.
    • Keep It Organized. Do you feel more productive and motivated when you declutter your room and do some chores around the house? There’s a good reason why this happens.
    • Integrate all aspects of your life: Stop seeing work, personal time, and social times as separate compartments. Rather than competing against each other, they should collaborate.
    • Lose balance to find balance: Letting go of control is key to letting things fall into place on their own. Sometimes you have to lose balance to find it.
    • Prioritize your activities: Knowing what matters is the first step. Finding balance requires saying no to something else so you can do what you want. Most of the time, we blame others, but we are the ones that are not making a choice.
    • Develop a balanced mindset: Balance is not something external; it lies within you. When something is bothering you, ask yourself: Why? An out-of-balance context can definitely affect you, but training your mind can neutralize part of the noise.
    • Take power naps daily. Do you think napping is for lazy people? Think again. Many studies have reported that a nap as brief as 20 minutes can improve alertness, psychomotor performance, and mood.
    • Wake up at the same time every day. Every single time I wake up early and have an active morning, I feel a lot better and have a more productive day. The problem is that some days I hit the snooze button a little too much.
    • Drink lots of water. Why should we drink more water? If you don’t drink water, you will die. It’s that simple. Your body is composed of roughly 60% water. That means when we are dehydrated, we are affecting the performance of the majority of our body.
    • Avoid energy drinks. Energy drinks are overloaded with caffeine and sugar in amounts that are harmful for your overall health. While energy drinks may give you a rush of energy when you first drink them, in the long run, they usually end up making you more tired and may result in harmful effects such as heart palpitations, dizziness, and even seizures.
