I thought Afterlife was great for what it was. Just the right amount of nostalgia, a good memorial for Egon and a nice revival for the dormant franchise. However, because of the whole family element, I don’t think they work as GHOSTBUSTERS. They did great carrying the torch but I don’t think they’re compelling enough to carry the franchise.
