Gilmore Girls (styled onscreen as Gilmore girls) is an American comedy-drama television series created by Amy Sherman-Palladino and starring Lauren Graham (Lorelai Gilmore) and Alexis Bledel (Rory Gilmore). The show debuted on October 5, 2000, on The WB and became a flagship series for the network.
Over the course of seven seasons, Gilmore Girls aired a total of 153 episodes. It returned in 2016 for a limited miniseries A Year in the Life.
