John Glynn Edwards (2 February 1931 – 23 May 2018) was a British television and cinema character actor, who came to national prominence for his portrayal of the barman Dave Harris in the 1970s–1990s British television comedy-drama Minder.
Actor: Zulu. Avuncular character actor Glynn Edwards became best known to TV audiences as the gullible bartender Dave who presided over Arthur Daley's favourite watering hole in Minder (1979). He was born in Malaya the son of a rubber planter and brought up by his grandparents in Portsmouth.

The TV and film favourite was best known for playing Dave 'The Barman' in the 1980s show Minder, and also had roles in Zulu and Get Carter. Edwards is reported to have died at home on May 23, with the cause of death yet to be confirmed.
