Devoid of plot and originality, and incredibly cheap looking for a major studio release, GOING BERSERK manages enough laughs to stay afloat, but just barely. These chuckles are due entirely to the cast, with John Candy working hard, and Eugene Levy and Joe Flaherty doing what they can with underwritten parts.
