The End of the Rainbow was the 21st episode of Season 6 of Good Times, also the 130th overall series episode. Written by Michael G. Moye and Jacqueline Henken, the episode, which was originally scheduled to serve as the series finale, was directed by Gerren Keith; it aired on CBS-TV on August 1, 1979.
A whirlwind of good fortune hits the Evans household when Keith is offered another football contract, J.J. gets a job at a comic book company and Willona moves to the same fancy apartment building as Keith, Thelma and Florida.
J.J. creates and sells the character "Dyno-Woman" to a comic book publisher (modeled after Thelma). J.J. is getting his own "pad" too.
