Salvador Guerrero Quesada [1] (January 11, 1921 – April 18, 1990), better known as Gory Guerrero, was one of the premier Mexican-American professional wrestlers in the early days of Lucha Libre when most wrestlers were imported from outside Mexico. He wrestled primarily in Empresa Mexicana de la Lucha Libre (EMLL) between the 1940s and 1960s.

May 18, 2021 · 7:02 pm. Earlier this week, Gory Guerrero, who is the father of Eddie, Chavo Sr., Mando, and Hector Guerrero, received his posthumous induction into the El Paso Athletic Hall of Fame. Gory had a decorated career throughout his time as a wrestler, and even made a name for himself as a booker, as well as a trainer, before passing away back in 1990.
