    • Ferris Bueller's Day Off. If you need a little inspiration for Ditch Day, look no further than this classic '80s flick!
    • Grease. Join Danny, Sandy, and the rest of the gang as they navigate their senior year of high school with plenty of bumps along the dragway.
    • The Breakfast Club. Let this classic movie serve as proof that high school stereotypes were made to be broken. After all, deep down, each one of us is a brain, an athlete, a basket case, a princess, and a criminal.
    • Can't Hardly Wait. A high school outsider finally gets his chance with the girl of his dreams at an epic graduation party.
    • The Graduate. Still the definitive post-grad film, and our number one suggestion. In Mike Nichols’ timeless classic, Benjamin Braddock (Dustin Hoffman) is a recent grad who has no idea what he wants to do with his life.
    • Cooley High. Michael Shultz’ classic coming of age film shows a group of Chicago friends in their last year of high school – a time of romance, parties, and having a good time.
    • Better Luck Tomorrow. Before there was Fast & Furious, there was Better Luck Tomorrow – Justin Lin’s directorial debut, and canonical origin story of Sung Kang’s Han.
    • Booksmart. Most of the films on this list are about the times before and after graduation. Well, Olivia Wilde’s Booksmart is about the day itself. Sort of.
    • The Lizzie McGuire Movie (2003) People may choose to dismiss this one because it is a Disney movie based on a TV show, and it didn’t go to festivals or win major awards, but that would be such a waste.
    • Booksmart (2019) One of the more recent teen comedy successes, Booksmart is equal parts vulgar and sweet. The movie follows two high school best friends, Molly (Beanie Feldstein) and Amy (Kaitlyn Dever), who have spent their entire school career abstaining from partying so they could get into good schools.
    • The Graduate (1967) The quarter-life crisis never looked as good as it does in The Graduate. One of the most important movies in the history of Hollywood, it centers around Benjamin Braddock (Dustin Hoffman), a recent college grad who is living at home with no job prospects and begins an affair with the wife of his father’s business partner, Mrs. Robinson (Anne Bancroft).
    • Dazed and Confused (1993) Though Richard Linklater had already wowed audiences at Sundance with his film Slacker, Dazed and Confused became his first big commercial success.
