Great River Bluffs is a nice state park with beautiful views of the river. Nice hiking trails. Nice area for tent camping, free from RVs. Don't go out of your way to stop here, but good place to kill some time and enjoy the bluff scenery.

Great River Bluffs State Park is located on the Mississippi River southeast of Winona. Visitors can enjoy hiking on over 6 miles of trails and 9 miles of mostly intermediate level cross-country ski trails. There are also opportunities for bird watching and camping. Park permits: $35 annual, $26 second vehicle, $12 handicapped, or $7 daily.
