Greater Cleveland Aquarium is filled with intriguing aquatic life from the Great Lakes and colorful sea creatures from around the globe. From weedy seadragons to a giant Pacific octopus, you can see more than 2,700 animals representing 250 species.

Jan 10, 2022 · The Greater Cleveland Aquarium is found on the west bank of The Flats, in the historic FirstEnergy Powerhouse building (which dates back to 1892!) overlooking the Cuyahoga River. The aquarium covers 70,000 square feet, and is actually a relatively new addition to the city, having opened in 2012.
